So, MTV must really like Rob because there has been TONS of info about him on their site!! Anyway, they sent some dialect coaches to check out his Spanish accent in his upcoming film 'Little Ashes'.

“I think it’s a credible Spanish accent,” praised Joel Goldes, a veteran dialect coach who has spent 18 years working with Nicolas Cage, Jim Broadbent, Jennifer Garner and other actors. Goldes said he was impressed by the London-born Pattinson. “I think if I didn’t know his background, I wouldn’t suspect anything.”

“What I’m hearing is actually a mixture. I’m hearing a lot of his Americanisms that he learned,” said accent coach Claudette Roche, saying that Pattinson’s gig as Salvador Dalí is all the more difficult since co-star Javier Beltrán is from Barcelona. “Because he’s working with Javier, who is Spanish, it’s very contrasting. Javier has a very pure Spanish accent.”

But despite the occasional encroachment of RPattz’s American tendencies, acting coach Bruce Ducat (who has worked with teen idols like Alyson Michalka, Katie Cassidy and Amanda Bynes) said it shouldn’t be enough to bother his core audience. “I think if I was one of the thousands of adolescent young women who are automatically his fans, I would buy it,” he said, adding one caveat: “I think if he has to meet the scrutiny of people whose ears are tuned for accuracy, it may be 50/50.”

Robert Pattinson says he wasn’t always a Hollywood heartthrob. The British actor reveals he wasn’t what female fans wanted when he starred alongside Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson in the Harry Potter series.

Rob tells Glamour magazine he was snubbed by Potter fans at one of the premieres. “At a premiere for Harry Potter, all these people were screaming, and this girl asked me to sign something. Halfway through, Daniel Radcliffe came along and the girl snatched the pad away saying: ‘I want Daniel!’” he says. “So I just shuffled off.”

So, let me explain something, I've always liked Kristen Stewart and thought she was a good actor with really great comedic timing. Anyway, but I have never like loved her. After this interview she did with USA Today i now have tons of empathy and a huge respect for her!!! read below...

"You're so connected to people and they all know how to get to you, and everyone knows who you are, so explicitly. They think they know you. It's like, 'You really think you know me? I don't know me! How do you know I'm not different around someone else?' " Her voice gets a little loud, and she slumps back in her chair.

"It almost makes the secrets more important, those few things you actually do choose to keep to yourself," she says quietly.
She has a reputation of being cranky, or a bit aloof. But over the course of about two hours, she reveals a kind of insecurity. She tries to say something, thinks it's coming out wrong, stops and starts again, then finally gets frustrated — and clams up.

Another thing that makes her stop in mid-sentence: teenage girls. A group enters the restaurant, and Stewart abruptly shuts up until they pass. She apologizes, a little embarrassed, and whispers: "If those type of girls saw me talking about Twilight, you don't understand. If I said 'Jacob' too loud, they'd be like —" She makes her eyes wide and sticks her hands out like claws.

"More than three girls of that certain age — run away," she says, laughing as the threat settles in a distant part of the patio. "Girls are scary. Large groups of girls scare the (crap) out of me."

She says Pattinson gets it worse. "They covet him. I think half of them are so jealous that they hate me," she jokes.

It doesn't help that many Twilight-ers want her and Pattinson to be a real-life couple. She's actually dating Michael Angarano, 21, whom she co-starred with in the 2004 drama Speak.

"It doesn't make my relationship harder. It's not like, 'Maybe I should be with (Pattinson) to make them happy and it'll make me more popular!' " Stewart laughs, adding that her real boyfriend "is totally not a threatened guy. But, dude, it sucks."

Rob now filming 'New Moon'!!!!!

I dont know why this makes me so excited .. but it does!! hahaha... laineygossip.com is reporting that Rob has officially started filming on 'New Moon'!!! read below...

Rob meanwhile shot his first scenes for New Moon yesterday. That’s right. Yesterday. He had not been on set up until that point. He’s been in Vancouver, he’s had some test photos taken, and wardrobe and makeup, and training, and rehearsals, but he had not been on set. Not a single frame was filmed until yesterday. Yesterday he was on set shooting with Kristen Stewart. More of the same throughout the week.

Robert Pattinson... Who? has a new interview from Glamour Spain magazine. It is quite a good interview!! one of the best ive actually read.. pretty interesting! check out below!

They say this British guy started to work in the industry because he wanted to meet girls. What he didn’t know is that his life was going to change forever once he got cast as the teenage vampire Edward Cullen, heroe to millions of teenagers thanks to the famous Twilgiht saga written by Stephenie Meyer. We’re in the city of Los Angeles and we speak with this peculiar actor that will become our Salvador Dali very soon.

Does Twilight remind you of your real life and high school, when two people are attracted to each other with such energy?
Yes, although I had really bad luck with girls, the ones I liked hated me and the ones that liked me were not my type. But that’s something that I still go through, I like girls that I shouldn’t like. But I’m learning and now I take my time before I let the girl know.

Do you believe in obsessive love?
Yes, but only from a girl’s point of view. I don’t think men are like that. Not many men read Stephenie Meyer books anyway.

You’re right. That’s what I was going to ask you. Do you believe this story was tailor made for young girls?
Yes, it’s so weird and funny. Afte reading the books I’ve been asking myself why do women act like that, why do they behave like that, especially younger girls. They turn into freaks when it comes to boys. I like nomal girls who don’t pretend to be anything else.

Would you like to live forever?
No, although it does have its advantages.

Do you understand the attraction and mystery around vampires?
I’ve never been insterested in vampires, although I understand why they’re so appealing to some people.

How are you handling being the new It Boy, being in so many covers of magazines now all over the world?
I don’t mind, my character is so good and he deserves to be admired. From the moment I signed up for this I knew what I was getting myself into. Edward is a vampire, he’s not a hero like Superman, he’s a vampire in love who wants to be normal.

It took him 90 years for him to find love. Do you believe in love at first sight?
That’s so boring! I think we all have the right to fall in love several times. The conventional idea of love, the idea of being with somebody for the rest of your life and love her forever sounds so silly to me, and so unrealistic. I think you can love ten people at the same time (laughs).

What are your biggest passions?
I’m boring. I like reading, watching movies and playing the piano.

People say you’ll leave Orlando Bloom without work pretty soon…
I don’t think this will happen to me. I don’t want to lose control of my life, I don’t care how much money I’m offered. Well, I’m kidding, actually. Because if I had massive ammounts of money and success, I’d still reach for the same goals and I’d be able to hide better. (TwilightPoison note: his answer sounds very strange, we think he missunderstood the question, or the interviewer’s question was not formulated properly, because it sounds like he thought the interviewer was saying that he’d be the next Orlando Bloom and not find a job after having so much success, not that he would leave Orlando with no other roles. Oh Rob… it was probably not your fault lol.)

What would you be capable of doing for love?
I don’t know, climb a mountain?

Would it scare you to fall in love like the characters in Twilight?
Yes, because it’s an obsessive love, a sick love. When you fall in love and you lose yourself like that. Imagine falling in love like that!

Do you get hit on by difficult women?
I’m crazy about independent women who don’t require too much attention.

Have you ever used the phrase “I’m an actor” as a pick up line?
Not, that phrase doesn’t wok here in LA - everybody is an actor here.

Are you planning on going to college?
Yes, but I’m planning on taking it slowly, probably when I’m 28. As an actor you have to take advantage of the opportunities you get and not letting them pass by.

How did you feel at 17?
I felt incredibly awkward all the time. I’ve always been a very edgy person, especially in those years that I didn’t find my place, everything scared me. I just started reading again my journals from when I was 17….

Do you talk about love in them?
Actually, no. I’ve only been attracted to two women in my whole life.

Do you remember the first time you loved someone?
Yes. It’s weird to enjoy your first love, especially if the relationship lasts a long time. Our relationship was really beautiful, but we didn’t have an obsessive love like in the movie. Her presence in my life made me very happy for three years. Now it’s kind of hard to talk about it.

Tell me about that hair…
I always have weird hair: Harry Potter, this one and Dali.

1. I heard that you follow all the online gossip about yourself?

I read that and thought it was such bullshit. I was like, "God, I sound like such a loser!"

2. So it's not true?

Well, I do sometimes. I used to a lot more before and then ... I only look at the negative stuff. I just want to know whoever's saying negative stuff, and I just want to remember their names. I write it all down in my black book. [Laughs]

3. Is it true that you took a fan out for dinner?

That is true, yeah.

4. Is it true that, I don't know if you saw this, but a source on the set of 'New Moon' said that you don't smell good, that you don't shower?

I haven't even been on the set yet!

5. You know the same thing went around about Zac Efron a while ago; that he doesn't shower.

Really? He looks like he smells really good [laughs]. I also do shower.6. I also read that you got hit on the head with a sign while you were filming?

You know, that is the most ... I actually got told about that this morning. It's like, "What?" It's the most boring story.

7. I just watched a Ryan Reynolds video interview and he called you "dreamy" and said he'd love to work with you.

Possible new Rob project

Ive been waiting to post this because i wanted to make sure it was true but it seems that this could definately be a possiblity!! There is a new project, 'Memoirs', that Summit Entertainment is working on with the writer from 'Rachel Getting Married'. anyway, read below!
Robert Pattinson, who proved his romantic appeal in Summit's "Twilight," may play another star-crossed lover in a new project called "Memoirs" that Summit is currently assembling.

Pattinson, who is reprising his role as vampire Edward Cullen in the "Twilight" sequel "The New Moon," is in early talks to star in the new project, which Allen Coulter is considering directing.

"Memoirs," based on an orignal screenplay by Will Fetters that will be rewritten by Jenny Lumet, who penned "Rachel Getting Married," tells of two lovers whose newfound relationship is threatened as they struggle to deal with family tragedies.

Coulter -- who directed "Hollywoodland," which dealt with the death of George Reeves, and has been nominated for six Emmys for his work on HBO's "The Sopranos" and FX's "Damages" -- is in negotiations on the project.

Nick Osborne and Trevor Engelson would produce via their Underground Films banner, and Summit president of production Erik Feig and vp production Meredith Milton, who brought the project to Summit, will oversee for the studio.

Pattinson is repped by Endeavor, while Coulter and Lumet are repped by ICM.

For "Twilight" movie fans who are anxiously awaiting the sequel but haven't read the second book in the vampire series, "New Moon," the film's star Robert Pattinson offers this advice -- be ready for something different and perhaps a little strange.

Pattinson became an overnight sensation playing a lovestruck vampire in the smash hit that sucked $373.4 million from global box offices, and he is in Vancouver, Canada, this week starting production on the film version of "New Moon."

Before that sequel lands in theaters in November, Pattinson plays eccentric painter Salvador Dali in "Little Ashes," which opens in art houses May 8 and tells of a homosexual love affair between Dali and the poet Federico Garcia Lorca.

But for now his turn as immortal vampire Edward Cullen, who falls in love with high school girl Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart) in "Twilight," has catapulted him to fame and his fans are dying for details on "New Moon."

Pattinson, for one, is cautious.

"The book of 'New Moon,' the majority of it is incredibly depressing," Pattinson told Reuters. "Obviously 'Twilight' was about finding first love and the difficulties of that, but 'New Moon' is really about loss and reconciliation, but the reconciliation isn't completely full."

"It's a strange story to have for a market that, I guess, wants to see a love story," he said.

Twilight Cast confirms - No Relationship

EOnline has this little article about the rumored Rob and Kristen relationship...

Edi Gathegi, who plays Laurent, tells me the cast and crew have pretty much ignored the gossip.

“I can’t even think of those two together at all,” he told me during his recent stop in Los Angeles for the launch of Catherine Hardwicke’s Twilight: Director’s Notebook. “Kristen has a boyfriend! It’s onscreen and that’s it.”

Ashley Greene, aka Alice Cullen, says Pattinson and Stewart are, in a way, victims of their own success.

“Their chemistry is fantastic, but no, they are not in a romantic relationship,” Greene said at the Twilight at Midnight DVD launch event at Hollywood’s Hot Topic store. “They are good actors [is] basically what it comes down to.”

How To Be soundtrack

So, one of Rob's other projects, How to Be, the soundtrack has been set to be released on April 28 (only 9 days after my birthday so thats a nice present!!) ...

Per the Dreamboat Records Facebook page, the soundtrack for How To Be will be released on April 28th!

The How To Be soundtrack includes 4 exclusive tracks performed and sung by Art (Robert Pattinson); the much requested Hammond Song from the trailer (The Roches); tracks by the Roller Coaster Project (Ronnie, played by Johnny White); and, the beautiful original score, written by Joe Hastings and produced by Gary Moore.

Dreamboat Records says they expect the record will be available for pre-order “soon” on their website.

Ok, so I am alive.. and i didnt fall of the face of the earth.. well mentally i think i might have! hahaha its been extremely hectic and quite crazy around here lately between my job/school/family/friends! but thats no excuse and im extremely sorry for the lack of posts/updates especially now with the whole twilight dvd release and the beginning of filming on New Moon!

anyway... starting tomorrow the blog will be back up and runnin at full speed!! but anywho.. i will now be having a Pic' O the Week instead of daily (its just became too much!) i'll prob go back to daily this summer when i actually have time!!

Ok, so i must have been hiding under rock lately because I am not sure how i missed this! YAY! I am a huge Catherine Hardwicke fan!!!.. so i was incredibly upset when i found out that she will not be directing New Moon. But... kinda good news... March 17th Twilight:Director's Notebook will be released. It is basically her notebook about filming the movie! from castings, to locations, to filming and behind the scenes info!! can you say Yay??

Little, Brown and Company will release Catherine Hardwicke's book Twilight: Director's Notebook on March 17, just in time for the March 21 release of Twilight on DVD, EW has learned exclusively. The book will include inside secrets on casting, location scouting, and wardrobe -- plus behind-the-scenes photos, personal notes about Hardwicke's favorite scenes, and more. "With this book, I tried to show fans and aspiring filmmakers some of the process that the crew and I went through filming Twilight," said Hardwicke, who started as a production designer for films like Tank Girl, Three Kings, and Vanilla Sky before making her directorial debut with 2003's Thirteen. "My challenge was to translate Stephenie [Meyer]'s powerful book and make you feel what she makes you feel when you read her words."

Rob opened up to You Magazine about how filming Little Ashes has changed the way he prepares for a role.

Robert Pattinson knew during the filming of Little Ashes that he wanted to be a professional actor.

He told YOU magazine what happened: "Last year, when I played Salvador Dali. The whole crew was Spanish. I can't speak Spanish so I obsessed over the part.
"I came to a completely different realization about how deep you can go into a character and how you can research a character. It was the first time I've been satisfied from a job.
"I wanted to bring that to every job afterward."

I, personally, think he is fantastic! And i love that he just fully commits himself to the role he is playing! Great Job Rob! A+! :)

MSN.com has voted Rob as one of the most fit actors in Hollywood... are you kidding me? Ok, the guy is gorgeous, funny, humble, talented, and just plain cute! but he is, by no means, the fittest actor in Hollywood! :) Here is what they have to say about his "buff, little body" - my fav part!

New Role for Rob???

Keep in mind that his is JUST rumor!!! it is probably not going to happen, but its nice to think it could!

Girls of every age will automatically love this movie. We don’t even need to tell you the storyline yet. Because the hook is that Justin Timberlake, Rob Pattinson, and Zac Efron are all in the movie. That’s one smart casting director.
Rumor has it the three heartthrobs will be cast members in the upcoming movie Ohio, which is based on the 1970 murders of anti-Vietnam War protesters at Kent State University.

A little dark, no? The only one of those three we could definitely see in the movie is Rob Pattinson, thanks to Twilight. And maybe that’s what the casting director thought too. Because word on the street is that Rob’s been asked to play the lead role. Justin and Zac, who are definitely the bigger stars in the grand scheme of things, would play second fiddle to Rob.

An insider reports to Star magazine, “Everyone in the industry is shocked that Rob is already getting such big roles. Zac and Justin have been working for a lot longer than he has. There is a bit of jealousy there. Zac’s people want him to have the lead. And Justin’s people have asked that he get a lot of screen time.”

So it’s not just the actresses who get into catfights! Rob may have been around the block as many times as Zac, and certainly JT, but he definitely is the best actor of the three. Sometimes it’s not about the name either! There’s something about having a lesser-known actor playing a lead role sometimes that makes the movie more exciting and less predictable. We’ll just have to wait and see if Rob takes the lead, and if JT and Zac can put their pride aside to take the smaller roles for the sake of making a god movie!

Ok, so we all know that Rob has talked in the past about the miniscule amount of clothes that he owns, his hygiene habits, and how often he washes his hair.. but we all still love him!! here is an interview he did with Metromix Baltimore talking, once again, about his poor hygiene...

“It’s the funniest thing. I just wear a hat a lot. I have so much residue crap in my hair from years and years and years of not washing it and not having any sense of personal hygiene whatsoever.”

How did you prepare for the role of Edward?
I based my performance on James Dean’s Rebel without a cause because I thought it would be fun to have that style for a vampire. I changed a bit my entire body languaged, I ran a lot, I practiced box for two hours a day for two months and I can honestly say I had never been so fit. Oddly enough, I’ve never been good in sports.
How was your relationship with Kristen Stewart?
Kristen in amazing, and your first impulse is to ask her for her phone number. But then I forced myself to remember that 90% of what you do on screen is acting and make things up. I enjoyed the process of creating these characters with her. We would spend all night talking about our scenes and the next day we would defend out points of view. That creative energy made us have a very special bond.

What can you say to parents who see the movie poster in which you’re seducing a young girl?
They should keep in mind that vampires can’t have sex (?). That theme is very important for parents, because in the books there’s an underlying message of abstinence and how important it is. I also think that the character of Bella in kind of a role model because she’s sensitive and passionate. To be honest, the content in Twilight is pretty harmless.

Is it true you hate to change clothes?
Yes, I rarely do it. For this interview I wore this clean pair of jeans, but there have been moments were I can’t even stand my own smell. (Gozde:

Is this a tradition of yours or something?
I just have very few clothes that I like. And I’m always traveling, so I have no time to wash it. It’s pathetic, why am I telling you this?

How can you manage to make your hair stand up like that?
I have it like this since I rolled out of bed. It’s just grease. I just don’t wash it, ever.

Did you go through some sort of trauma while showering when you were a kid?
My dad loved to brush my hair and I hated that. It’s funny how part of my personality has a lot to do with my hair. (Gozde: LMAO! I feel like I should put a "he is kidding!" here just in case :)

Describe your bedroom.
My bedroom in my parents house hasn’t changed much since I was 10. But the room where I sleep right now is very disgusting. Possible not very sanitary. It’s like a bum lives in there. It’s like an animal’s cage.

I watch movies, I read, I play all kinds of music. Honestly, I’m not that very interesting.

Are you dating anyone?
No, I’m promoting the movie right now.

Can you imagine this guy as Edward??? I certainly CANT!

I was worried that it might just be a rumor like the Vannessa Hudgens/Leah rumor (which i am EXTREMELY happy that it was!)... but I would be really happy if they did hire Dakota for Jane! I don’t have his number, so haven’t spoken to him. But I can safely say that his insisting that girls would choose me over him that they would not. That they do not. Well, not exactly 10... actually 8!! :) ROBsessed has found an interesting note written about Rob. This person is writing things that bug her about Rob.. but for me, most of them are why i like him!!! plus i find it funny that she says "10 things.." even though she only lists 8!

Robert Pattinson this, Robert Pattinson that. You can't leave your house anymore without being assaulted by Robert Pattinson. The name haunts me worse than any tween vampire ever could. Robert Pattinson is all anyone cares about. He's like Brangelina, only stronger, because there's only one of him. That's right. Robert Pattinson is a Hollywood Power Couple all by himself. Let me articulate what's getting on my nerves about Robert Pattinson.

8) Nobody is this humble! This guy has to have an ego or he wouldn't even be able to leave the house in the morning. Personally, I know people who work the graveyard shift at the local gas station and think they're something special. Here's a guy in one of the hottest movies around and he refuses to talk himself up.

7) He doesn't have a girlfriend. He's 22 and he's not tied into a relationship. He doesn't have a ball or a chain he has to answer to at the end of a long day of filming. What nerve.

6) He's nice to fans. This guy is nice to his fans, a rare trait if ever there was one. I prefer surly, anti-social celebrities. They're easier to hate on.

5) He's had it too easy in Hollywood. Where's all the "paying of dues" actors need to go through in order to become this famous? Pattinson just walked into Tinsel Town one day and they handed him the keys to the place.

4) He doesn't get involved in unnecessary drama. He has no bitter custody case going on. He isn't under arrest for DUI. Compared to Shia LaBeouf this cat is unnatural.

3) Girls love him just a bit too much. RPattz is to girls what spinach was to Popeye. Women go crazy at the sight of Big Rob.

2) He's not going away any time soon. Right now Pattinson can do no wrong. Everybody wants him in their next movie so he can afford to be selective and choose whatever project he wants. We'll all have to deal with him for years!

1) His new haircut. He's supposed to have long vampire hair. Now he looks like a Young Republican.

I know some of you will say "You live in a Free World, if you choose to, you can ignore Robert Pattinson." Uh, no I can't. It's not in the cards. Sure I'd love to be a Robert Pattinson hater, but it just doesn't seem to be in the cards. So far the guy has managed to keep his overall image so positive, there aren't any chinks in his armor.

Mädchen: Are you romantic?
ROB: When I was fifteen I had a date with a girl at the zoo. But we didn’t
have enough money to pay the entrance. So we ran along the fence of the
zoo on the outside. It was raining and we didn’t have an umbrella with us,
I think that was romantic. (Gozde: Ya think? I can litterally hear y'all sigh:))

Mädchen: What does trust mean to you?
ROB: If you tell a friend something about you no one else should know and he really doesn’t tell it to anybody it’s a good feeling. Then you know that you know this person well. There are not many people who keep secrets.

Mädchen: Do you believe in love on the first bite?
ROB: Yes, I do. It’s absolutely possible that you meet somebody in the streets and you suddenly fall in love with this person. That often happens to me (laughs). (Gozde: Way to encourage stalkers Rob! They will keep bumping into you from now on :)

Rob has won Hello Magazine's pole for Most Attractive man!!! i was losing for a little while but won in the end!!

The race for the Most Attractive Man title turned up two frontrunners as dishy Doctor Who David Tennant and rising star Robert Pattinson went neck and neck all the way. As the male pole closed over 395,000 votes had been cast, with the Twilight star emerging as the winner with 39 per cent - a lead of only one per cent.

Robert Pattinson’s life has changed since playing the part of Edward Cullen in the blockbuster film Twilight.

The 22 year old actor that went from playing a supporting role in the Harry Potter series to being the hottest vampire to hit Hollywood land, has had to adjust to his new found world wide fame and deal with it the best he can.

RPattz recently confessed that he was afraid of crowds and told J-14 magazine that he cried at a Twilight event in Italy. Robert Pattinson said, “I started crying when people were screaming at me. I really didn’t think that would happen. It was completely involuntary.”

His cast mate, Kristen Stewart, caught him with tears in his eyes. Robert said that it was “embarrassing.”

Despite all his new found fame and fortune, Robert Pattinson is still single and looking. What’s he looking for in a lady friend? “I like a kind of madness in a woman and when they’re strong.” (Girls that carry a tissue for involuntary crying bouts are a bonus.)
